Mike Pendergraft: President and CEO

Mike Pendergraft: President & CEO
Born and raised in Arizona, Mike is a third generation Phoenician. During high school, Mike worked for US Valet as a valet attendant at local establishments: Green Gables Restaurant, The Pointe Resorts, The Safari Restaurant and Etienne's. By 1978 he managed the company. In 1980, Mike started his own valet company with the Phoenix Country Club as his first account. The company has now grown to its present size of over 400 employees and over 60 locations. As owner, Mike's responsibilities include sales, customer relations and managing services and operations.

   
Shawn (Pendergraft) Cunningham: Vice President

Shawn (Pendergraft) Cunningham: Vice President
After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Psychology, Shawn joined her brother Mike in 1989. Shawn has been with American Valet for 14 years and has worked in all aspects of the Company. Currently Vice President, her responsibilities include managing office operations. Among clients, she enjoys a reputation as a person who goes out of her way to provide the ultimate in customer service.

   
Meagan McLaughlin: Director of Private Parties

Meagan McLaughlin: Special Event Marketing Manager
Meagan started with American Valet in December 1999 as a valet and became part of the office family in March 2000. She is currently in charge of Sales and Marketing for Private Parties. Meagan is originally from Hopewell, New Jersey, a small town just outside of Princeton. She moved to Arizona in 1997 to attend ASU.

   
Barbara Conner: Payroll Manager

Lynn Lakia: Director of Private Parties
Lynn started with American Valet in 2008. She is currently in charge of management of the private party department. Lynn is originally from the Bay Area in North California.

Barbara Conner: Payroll Manager
Barb Conner has been working with American Valet since 1996. She began working as an event employee/supervisor and now currently heads the company's payroll. Barb is originally from Minnesota. She moved to Arizona in 1981. Barb is an invaluable member of the American Valet family.

   
Dara Lasseter: HR Manager

Dara Lasseter: HR Manager
Dara joined the American Valet family in 2005. Her responsibilities entail planning and implementing human resource policies, including recruiting, compensation, employee relations, and safety. She has over five years of human resources and recruiting experience in high turnover and customer focused environments. A graduate of California State University in Long Beach, Dara holds a B.A. in Psychology.

   
Robert Plaisted: Director of Operations

Robert Plaisted: Director of Operations
Robert Plaisted joins us after a 22-year career with Home Depot. In his new position as director of operations, he manages and guides the entire department of operations.

   
Janice Pendergraft: Director of Client Relations

Janice Pendergraft: Director of Client Relations
Janice, Mike's wife, started working at the Company part time in 1998. She began full time as of September 2003 handling all the billing, accounts receivable, collections, and special projects such as company and client events. Janice also heads up the Marketing and Sales Departments. Her administrative and sales background is a tremendous asset to American Valet.

   
Danielle Humphrey: Executive Assistant

Danielle Humphrey: Executive Assistant
Danielle Humphrey joined American Valet in 2006 as assistant to Mike Pendergraft. Her responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of management, acting as liaison between clients and Mike Pendergraft as well as coordinating and managing special projects.

   
Brian Lubbs: Director of New Business

Brian Lubbs: Director of New Business
Brian came to American Valet with extensive operations management experience in a customer focused, specialty retail environment. He joined our team as regional manager for shuttle operations in February 2006. A native of Dixon, IL, Brian earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University and a B.S. in General Art from Illinois State University. Brian manages and guides the Sales and Marketing department.
