Mike Pendergraft: President & CEO

Born and raised in Arizona, Mike is a third generation Phoenician. During high school, Mike worked for US Valet as a valet attendant at local establishments: Green Gables Restaurant, The Pointe Resorts, The Safari Restaurant and Etienne's. By 1978 he managed the company. In 1980, Mike started his own valet company with the Phoenix Country Club as his first account. The company has now grown to its present size of over 400 employees and over 60 locations. As owner, Mike's responsibilities include sales, customer relations and managing services and operations.

Kelly Buckley: Executive Vice President - Administration

Kelly joined American Valet in 1998 as a part time employee. She has worked full time since 2004 in various departments within the company. With her extensive experience in operations, Kelly contributes knowledge and insight into each department to ensure our standards of customer service are met company wide. Kelly is passionate about being the change you want to see in the world. She is a graduate of Northern Arizona University. When not working, she enjoys training for triathlons and spending time with her family.

Mal Kenney: Executive Vice President – Sales and Operations

Mal began his career with American Valet in 1998. He began as a valet and worked his way up performing almost every job along the way. Mal has tremendous insight into the day to day operations of American Valet and is committed to excellence in all he does.  Mal was raised in North Scottsdale, attended the prestigious Brophy Prep, and continued his education at ASU. An avid runner, Mal is setting his sights on competing in the Boston Marathon this year.

Cynthia Heu: Director of Human Resources

Cynthia Heu joined the American Valet team in December, 2011. As the new Director of Human Resources, Cynthia brings over 20 years of experience in recruiting, talent management, employee relations, and training and development to American Valet. She most recently served as Human Resources Director for the Wyndham Phoenix. Prior to Wyndham, she spent over two decades in the healthcare, parking management services and hospitality industries including Tenet Healthcare, Ace Parking Management, Cendant Corporation, Princess Cruises and Westin and Marriott hotels. Born and raised on the island of Maui in Hawaii, Cynthia holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Hawaii.

Angela Polodna: Sales Director

Angela Polodna started with American Valet  in 2008 as our Private Party Scheduling Manager. She quickly moved into the Private Party Director position due to her excellence in customer service and attention to detail. As our current Sales Director she is able to utilize her in depth knowledge of American Valet and our standards of excellence in all we do. Angela has a Bachelors Degree from Arizona State University. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, and is a proud Cornhusker!  When not working, Angela loves playing tennis and golf.

Barbara Conner: Payroll Manager

Barb Conner has been working with American Valet since 1996. She began working as an event employee/supervisor and now currently heads the company's payroll. Barb is originally from Minnesota. She moved to Arizona in 1981. Barb is an invaluable member of the American Valet family.

Janice Pendergraft: Director of Client Relations

Janice, Mike's wife, started working at the Company part time in 1998. She began full time as of September 2003. She heads up the Accounting Department, handling all the billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and collections. Her administrative and sales background is a tremendous asset to American Valet.

Jennifer Ryan: Private Party Director

Jennifer comes to American Valet with extensive experience in event planning and management for both corporate and residential customers. She attended Arizona State University and is originally from the Bay Area. Jennifer excels at identifying client specific needs and focuses her attention to exceed their expectations. Jennifer manages the day to day operations of our private party team. In her spare time she enjoys Sudoku, loves running and spending time with her family.

Brian Lubbs: Healthcare Division Manager

Brian came to American Valet with extensive operations management experience in a customer focused, specialty retail environment. He joined our team as regional manager for shuttle operations in February 2006. A native of Dixon, IL, Brian earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University and a B.S. in General Art from Illinois State University. Brian manages and guides the Sales and Marketing department.

Brian's division includes all of our healthcare accounts including Hospitals, Medical Facilities, and our shuttle services.

Patrick Tobin: Hotel/Commercial Division Manager

Patrick joined American Valet in 2009. He provides us with a long history and great knowledge of the garage management and self parking industry. Patrick's division includes all of our commercial accounts including Garage Management, Parking Lot Management, and our Private Party division.
