Audubon Arizona is excited about their VIP Preview Event to be held on November 4th at the newly restored Rio Salado Habitat. They will be announcing their plans for the future Nina Mason Pulliam Rio Salado Audubon Education Center. The Audubon Education Center will create a culture of conservation by bringing nature to the urban world through education with an emphasis on reaching the children of the inner city.

On November 5th the City of Phoenix will be celebrating the Grand Opening of its 595 acre Rio Salado Habitat Restoration with an all day Nature Festival, which begins at 10am. Come see restored riparian areas, learn about the areas indigenous trees and birds, and view the hiking, biking and equestrian trails for everyone to enjoy!

The annual Sunnyslope Fall Festival is right around the corner. It will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 3-7pm at the Sunnyslope High School located on Central Avenue & Dunlap.
